1. Who this policy covers
Daily Fanfare (referred to as “Daily Fanfare”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides tools for creating, editing and scheduling product content. This policy applies to visitors, account holders and people who contact us.
For privacy questions, rights requests or complaints, contact our privacy and grievance contact at support@dailyfanfare.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, authentication identifiers and profile details supplied through Clerk or Google sign-in.
- Product and brand information: uploaded photos, logos, product names, descriptions, verified details, brand preferences and instructions.
- Created content: prompts, creative directions, drafts, images, videos, captions, hashtags, edits and exports.
- Instagram connection and publishing information: connected account identifiers, username, connection status, schedules, publishing requests and results. During the limited direct-Meta review pilot, we store the Instagram user access token encrypted on our server; we never ask for or store your Instagram password.
- Billing information: selected plan, currency, subscription and payment identifiers, payment status and billing events. Razorpay processes card and payment credentials; we do not receive or store your complete card number.
- Usage and technical information: actions taken in the service, credit usage, error and security logs, IP-derived region, device and browser information, and essential browser storage.
- Founder-pilot campaign information: allowlisted campaign tags, an opaque lead code, the landing path and event time when a visitor opens a tagged pilot link. This landing event is not joined to an account or email address.
- Optional advertising measurement: if you consent, the Google Ads base tag may collect browser, device and page-request information and store advertising measurement cookies or similar identifiers.
- Support information: messages and material you send when requesting help.
3. How we use information
- Provide accounts, drafts, generation, editing, export, scheduling and publishing features.
- Analyse product photos and send necessary inputs to AI providers to produce requested content.
- Process subscriptions, apply plan allowances and maintain billing records.
- Secure the service, prevent misuse, diagnose failures and improve reliability.
- Measure aggregate landing loads for the limited founder outreach pilot.
- Measure advertising performance through Google Ads when you consent.
- Respond to support requests and send essential service, billing and security communications.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms and protect users and the service.
Depending on where you live, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as security and service reliability. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, but this does not affect earlier lawful processing.
4. AI processing and product uploads
Your product photos, instructions and relevant product information may be sent through OpenRouter to the AI model provider selected for a generation. The provider may process this material in another country. Do not upload material you are not authorised to use, unnecessary personal documents, sensitive personal data, or photographs of children.
AI output can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing generated content and confirming that product claims, appearance and rights are suitable before publishing.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers only as needed to operate Daily Fanfare, including:
- Clerk for authentication and account identity.
- Supabase for database and media storage.
- Vercel for application hosting and delivery.
- OpenRouter and underlying AI model providers for image, video and text processing.
- Razorpay for checkout, recurring payments and billing events.
- Upload-Post and Meta/Instagram when you connect an account or request publishing.
- Google Ads for optional advertising measurement after you consent.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing or transfer of the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
Information is stored for as long as needed to provide your account, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security records. Drafts and generated assets remain available until deleted, the account is closed, or operational retention limits apply. Calendar records older than the product’s displayed history window may be automatically removed. Direct-Meta access tokens remain encrypted until disconnect, expiry or account deletion. Pilot media is private, is shared with Meta through a short-lived signed URL only when publishing, and is removed after completion on a best-effort basis. Publication audit metadata may remain until account deletion or a verified deletion request. Backups and legally required records may remain for a limited period after deletion.
You can delete content through available product controls or request account, Instagram-related, and personal-data deletion at support@dailyfanfare.com. Disconnecting the direct-Meta pilot deletes the local encrypted token and cancels queued direct media locally; to revoke Meta’s copy of an authorization, also remove Daily Fanfare from your Instagram connected apps. Some billing, fraud-prevention or legal records may need to be retained.
7. Security and international transfers
We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted service credentials and account-level data controls designed to protect information. No online system is completely secure. Our providers may process information outside your country; where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual protections.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal data, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or raise a grievance. We may verify your identity before acting. You may also disconnect Instagram, cancel a subscription and control content through your account.
Essential account and service communications cannot be disabled while the relevant service or subscription remains active. Optional marketing messages, if introduced, will have a separate opt-out.
9. Cookies and local storage
We use essential authentication, security, payment and preference technologies, plus short-lived session storage to avoid duplicate founder-pilot landing events in one tab. The optional Google Ads tag and its advertising measurement technologies remain off until you consent, and you can revisit that choice at any time. Read our Cookie & Local Storage Notice for details.
10. Children and changes
Daily Fanfare is intended for business users aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the product, providers or law changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel, and the date above will be updated.
